Everyone rocked it yesterday!!! I hope everyone is getting enough sleep because sleep allows for your body to rebuild itself. Try to hit 7-8 hrs of sleep. Why? Here’s why…
When you sleep, your body does not shut off… As soon as you drift off into never never land, “your brain stays busy, overseeing a wide variety of biological maintenance tasks that keep you running in top condition and prepare you for the day ahead.” Without the sleep that you thought you could just be like “oh sleep? im good, ill stay up a couple hours on facebook checking the master cheif’s profile to see if hes uploading more pictures of himself. Or up on youtube searching oly lifting fails to have a good laugh…” Without sleep, “you wont be able to work, learn, create, and communicate at a level” that you would normally be used to. “Whats your point GetFitCnmi?” my point is to get enough sleep so that you dont end up having a major mental and physical break down when you try to hit a wod and you just cant push it….

Today is R E S T D A Y! Tomorrow, however, will be different. I am asking everyone to meet at 5:30PM at the gym (TheBox). When I say everyone, I mean 5PM and 6PM classes. The reason I say 5:30PM is so that the 6PM class can join us. I have something special planned so please come with your game faces.
As for today, our rest day, we will be working out across the civic center at the Kilili basketball court. If you would like to join us, which you are more than welcome to, please show up at 5PM. We will be there. If not, enjoy your rest day:)
